Trimble Navigation (NASDAQ:TRMB), PeopleNet’s parent company, has entered into an agreement to acquire TMW Systems®, pending regulatory approval.
TMW Systems® will operate as an autonomous business unit inside Trimble’s Global Transportation & Logistics group. In addition to PeopleNet, this group includes other industry providers; GEOTrac, Direct Store Delivery (DSD) and Trimble Transport & Logistics business units in Europe and India.

This is a good thing for TMW Systems® and it’s customers, it should provide for expansion and growth beyond it’s present limits. We expect continued development of Truckmate® for the foreseeable future.
